We are currently looking to hire a part-time in store computer repair technician with the occasional onsite services and the possibility of going full time.

Prospective applicants must be able to diagnose and identify defective hardware (hard drive, RAM, motherboards, etc...) along with having familiarity and experience with computer software and applications such as Microsoft Windows and Office, and have basic MacOS and Linux skills. Services we offer that will need to be provided include:

· Laptop screen/keyboard replacement

· Fan replacement (laptop & desktop)

· Liquid cooler installation/replacements & thermal paste refresh

· Ram replacement/upgrade

· Drive cloning/replace/upgrade to SSD

· Power jack replacement

· Track pad replacement

· PSU replacement

· Motherboard replacement

· GPU replacement

· Printer setup & configuration

· Data backup, recovery, and migration

· OS wipe and reinstall

· Driver installation

· Virus and malware removal and security installation

· General software maintenance & cleanup

· Email and calendar configuration 

· Installing and maintaining apple MacOS systems

· Answering customer phone calls and emails

· Communicating with customers in a clear and effective manner

Qualifications and Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role and/or be capable of demonstrating your ability on a job trial – the ability to perform various repairs independently is a must.
• To be a TRAINED TECHNICIAN who is professional, reliable and delivers a high standard of repair work. (We are not accepting applicants who want to learn.)
• Comfortable in field repairs as well as within the shop
• Capacity to multitask under time constraints
• Relevant diploma level qualification is advantageous
